Born and raised in Tambopata, in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon, I bring more than two decades of experience in the tourism industry. From an early age, I developed a deep and lasting connection with the rainforest, a place that has shaped both my personal life and professional path.
My career began as an Official Tourism Guide, leading wildlife expeditions and tailor-made experiences for families, nature lovers, adventure seekers, beginner birdwatchers, photographers, university students, and academic groups from around the world. These early years shaped my understanding of guest expectations, safety, environmental interpretation, and the importance of delivering meaningful, well-organized experiences that inspire lasting connections with nature and support conservation.
Over time, my professional journey evolved into lodge administration and remote operations management. I have worked with national and international tourism companies in lodge management, operations, reservations, sales, travel planning, participation in international trade shows, and training travel agencies to promote and sell Amazon travel experiences. This progression strengthened my leadership skills, logistical expertise, and commitment to guest satisfaction in remote and challenging environments.
My international experience includes leading wildlife photography programs in the northern Pantanal of Brazil, as well as in Chilean Patagonia and Alaska, supporting operations, logistics coordination, and conservation-oriented tourism initiatives. Working in these demanding destinations strengthened my ability to coordinate high-level experiences where sustainability, operational efficiency, customer service, and exceptional service are essential.
Today, my work focuses on operational excellence, sustainable tourism development, and delivering authentic nature experiences while ensuring consistent, high-quality hospitality in remote and extraordinary natural environments.
